Showcase NYC 5 on 5 Basketball.

Think you got what it takes ?

Showcase NYC, a Lower East Side organization committed to providing athletes, from the ages of 18-35, the opportunity to play competitive basketball at a low-cost. New York City is known for its basketball talent; but at the moment, leagues are averaging an entry fee of $1,200 to $1,500 per team!

Showcase NYC will be hosting an outdoor 5-on-5 league, beginning in July and concluding at the end of August. Games will be played from 6pm to 8pm on Monday and Wednesday nights at Luther Gulick Playground, located on Delancey and Sheriff Street. We are expecting to have 10 teams, which is approximately 100 participants, and a large amount of spectators and foot traffic due to the high visibility of the location.

The purpose of this event is to provide athletic individuals the chance to “showcase” their talent in a healthy, athletic and competitive environment; this league will feature basketball players of college and overseas caliber. Showcase NYC is offering entry at more than half the cost of a typical league, charging about $750-1000 per team. Spring 2010 Delivery.

A lot of people have been wondering why we’ve been so quite over the past month. After returning from a 2 week trip to Hong Kong, we started on renovations on our office which pretty much put us out of commission for the following weeks. We’ll post pics of the new – old office once we get things cleaned up.

Along with everything going back to normal, we’re dropping Spring 2010 after much anticipation.

Brooklyn Banks 1988
